Dolgoe lake is located in Braslav district, Vitebsk region, 24 km south-west from the town of Braslav. The lake is included in the boundaries of the national park Braslav lakes.
The area of the lake is 1.87 km2, the length is 3.53 km, maximum width is 1.25 km, maximum depth is 31 m, coastline length is about 13.3 km. The volume of water is about 11 million.3. There are four islands in the lake, a total area of them is 0.13 km 2.
Dolgoe lake is a popular place for recreation, fishing and tourism. The lake is home for pike, bream, eel, perch, tench, roach,rudd and other fish and crayfish. Dolgoe lake is used for commercial fishing and for fishing amateurs paid recreational fishing is organized.
In the area of the Dolgoe lake a rare nesting birds in Belarus - toadstool small is noted and rare species of plants listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Belarus - Baranez ordinary is grown.
