Lake Plissa located in Glubokoe district, Vitebsk region near the Plissa village, in 17 km of north-east from the Glubokoe city. River Shosha and river Svilitsa empties into the lake, as well as numerous streams, and flows river Mnyuta.
The area of the lake is 4,24 km2, its length - 6,2 km, maximum width - 1,43 km and the maximum depth is 15 meters. The lake has a complex of the type basin, extending from west to east. The coastline near the lake is very winding. The lake has 7 islands. Beach of the lake - low, swampy and sandy, covered mainly by coniferous forest. The lake bottom is sandy, at a greater depth - sapropel. The lake water is clean, that make the lake a popular destination for the rest in Belarus.
The lake is also a popular destination for fishing. In it inhabit rudd, perch, carp, pike, bream, silver bream, ide, carp, roach. Fishing is free.
